[L directly asking for help is a red flag, though he'd already been aware that someone else had gotten a hold of his computer and he was likely in trouble. Unfortunately Near isn't the knight in shining armor type. The fact that he's contacting Near instead of Mello means that he's trying to avoid having his rival rush to his aid, though that's bound to happen sooner or later anyway.]

Mostly various sides of this god fiasco bickering over the network and seeking out the remaining conduits. Most areas are clear now, though not all.

The labs that had been targeted were just recently cleared, but an area in Vandare, as well as a good portion of the woods I arrived in and the park in Bavan remain corrupted. Everything else was taken care of.

My laptop was stolen and I've been unable to keep up with the network. I've since recovered it, but as you can imagine, I've fallen behind on current events at a time when things can change very suddenly. I was concerned that he had gotten caught in the crossfire, given his historical readiness to act.

Mello wouldn't get caught in any crossfire. The fire would be entirely of his own making.
